During the recording of ‘Lost Persons Area’, Roger Oldham – our drummer of 5 years – parted company with the band.
After much prayer and discussion it became apparent that the demands of his career outside the band, became incompatible with GD’s desire to increase the amount of time we spent working as a band. It was a very difficult decision, and not one taken lightly, that he should leave.
We know that God has great plans for Roger’s life and we pray that he will fulfil his potential to serve God - the same thing we pray for ourselves.
His contribution to the album, and GD as a whole, cannot be underestimated and he will be greatly missed.
