Glass Darkly can today confirm that they will be playing New Day on Monday 6th August at the Café Edge Venue. It signals a break through for the band to play at the event and an opportunity that they have wanted to happen for some time. Darkly fans in all dimensions of the universe have every reason to be pleased tonight because they won't have to put their hands in their pockets again to see the GD in action either. You heard correct, due to the spiraling costs young people are being expected to cough up to enjoy the fullness of festival life, the band have seized an opportunity to stage an underground event that will be absolutely free for those able enough to rock.
Tim Ebenezer explained: "I personally refuse to pay twice to see a band. It cost enough just to get into the festival in the first place, so we made a decision not to let the powers at be exploit our fans. Who wants to pay to see an average band on the mainstage when you can see us for nothing?"
New Day was set up by New Frontiers for young people in 2004. This years event will take place at Uttoxeter near Derby.
