GD to rock City of Angels...

Friday September 1st 2006

It has been confirmed that GD will fly to Los Angeles airport on the 8th of November and return on the 22nd. The boys will be leading worship at MTX on the 12th and performing at various unconfirmed venues over a period of 2 weeks.

Darkly front-man Dave Painter spoke briefly to GD news at the announcement: "It's going to be great, it's been a dream of ours to play in the States....I've been there a few times now and love the country, especially the waffles....It's a big step of faith though, at the moment we only have one event confirmed. We had to make a decision whether or not to go ahead with a proposed tour though because we needed to purchase plane tickets. We feel that God has given us this opportunity to serve the church out there and hopefully, God-willing, the schedule will fill up over the next month or so. The plan is to be playing 7-10 gigs. We need that to justify the trip to our wives and kids!"
